Overview
Pisac
It is a small town in the Sacred Valley of the Incas in southern Peru. Its archaeological site includes agricultural terraces, astronomical constructions of finely built walls without relief, plazas and cemeteries in the wall of a mountain built by the Incas on the top of a mountain.
The agricultural terraces are designed on 3 flanks of the mountain and some form an amphitheater. The city is known for its handicraft market, one of the largest and most popular in the region, where you can find textiles, ceramics, jewelry and other local products.
Pisac is a fascinating place that combines a rich history with a vibrant artisan and agricultural culture.
