It is an Inca fortress located on the outskirts of the city of Cusco, it also offers a panoramic view of the city and all the mountains surrounding the city. It is one of the most impressive archaeological sites due to its megalithic structures.

Sacsayhuaman consists of three parallel walls built in a zigzag shape and extends for more than 300 meters long. The walls of the fortress are up to 18 meters high and are made of large blocks of stone, perfectly carved and fitted together.

The construction features large blocks of stone, some of which weigh more than 120 tons. The stone blocks were carved with great precision and fit together perfectly, like a jigsaw puzzle. Today, Sacsayhuaman is one of the most important tourist attractions in the world.
