Choquequirao

Choquequiraw is an archaeological complex built high in the Vilcabamba Mountain range. The site includes a series of decorated agricultural terraces, astronomical buildings, plazas, and streets that extend over a vast area equivalent to 10 times the size of Machupicchu.

Its location on the edge of one of the Andean mountain ranges is what gives it the wonderful sensations for those who manage to get there. Although Choquequirao is located about 60 kilometers from Machu Picchu, the site has not been fully explored and restored, which makes your visit all the more exciting and mysterious due to its difficult access.
