Lares

Lares is a region located in the province of Calca, north of Cusco, in the Peruvian Andes. The Lares region is famous for its natural hot springs, beautiful mountain scenery and traditional Andean culture.

In these communities, visitors can view traditional weaving, see large herds of llamas and alpacas, taste local foods, and participate in Andean rituals and ceremonies. Lares also offers some of the most beautiful hiking trails in the region, with breathtaking views of mountains, valleys and lakes.
