Historic Santuary of Machupicchu

Machu Picchu is a magical, enigmatic and fascinating place that leaves an indelible mark on the mind and heart of every traveler. This Inca city was built high in the Peruvian Andes, surrounded by mountains and a spectacular landscape that offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding area.

The Inca constructions to this day maintains roads leading up the Andes, astronomical observatories, energetic centers, Inca houses, social structures and agricultural terraces that reflect the advanced knowledge and skill of the Incas in construction.

For centuries it remained hidden from the outside world until it was discovered for the world in 1911 by explorer Hiram Bingham, who was taken by a farmer who lived in Machupicchu and whose 12 year old son Pablito was the first to guide Machupicchu. In Inca times it was the city of the high rulers of the Tahuantinsuyo (Inca nation, ancient Peru) where they kept the study of natural energies (metaphysics), at the same time it was a university city for advanced students of the Tahuantinsuyo guided by the rulers.

In addition, Machu Picchu is a place that inspires the connection with nature and cosmic energy, which makes it an ideal place for meditation and introspection, due to the geographical formation as a whirlpool and Machu Picchu is in the middle, also the Van Allen Belt (descubierta en 1958) passes with greater activity through Machu Picchu and its builders knew more than humanity knows.
