Through the tour of the southern valley of geological importance but mostly photographic, we will arrive at Pikillacta a city in ruins of 2 km2, with streets and houses very well defined, in addition to archaeological evidence of a very sophisticated society also determined as pre-Inca.
The valley route will take us tothe upper part of the Sacred Valley until Andahuaylillas town, where the church is known in the world as the “Sistine Chapel of America” (allusion to the Sistine Chapel-Rome). It is the place where you will see more gold than anywhere else.
To balance the ostentatious positions of the Inkas, we must visit Tipon, an archaeological center consisting of agricultural terraces supplied with a sophisticated hydraulic system, as further evidence of the great technological advancement of yesteryear.
By the way, only when you come here will you know why this route is called the the Sun Route.
