Ausangate Trek
This adventure begins with a tour from Cusco to Upis, with views of some places to better understand the culture and history where we are entering. Upis is at the base of Ausangate, in the afternoon we will begin with the epic landscapes of Ausangate (lakes and glaciers).
The following days our legend will begin in the Andes, we will go up and down many mountains, every day we will discover new faces of nature and the Inka culture will transport us in time to understand and have a better contact with nature, in this way we will get closer to the therapeutic goal of IntiTravel.Org and its commitment to life.
This adventure is centered on Ausangate but we will also visit the rainbow mountain, having better angles and views of the surrounding mountains. If we are very lucky we will see some of the wildlife of the Andes. At the end of this adventure we will visit the Pajchanta thermal baths as the grand finale of this experience with nature.
During this expedition we will often use the terms Apu and Cocha, Apu is the energy of the mountain and is commonly used as a deity and cocha means lake, these words are in Runasimi (Inka language).
