Maras is a picturesque village of earth tones, currently very visited by the salt mine and Moray. The salt flat is located on a hillside, there are small ponds that extends far, the locals still preserve ancestral techniques for the production of salt that is in operation since Inca times.

In the middle of the journey through the high Andean plains to reach Moray, a very wide protuberance in the earth with a series of terraces in the form of concentric rings, which in Inca times gave rise to agricultural experiments and acclimatization of plants, thanks to the artificial creation of different temperatures (climates and microclimates).
