From the beginning we will reduce the height with the sacred valley of the Inkas to increase acclimatization and emotions with the magic of the Andes, for 3 days we will be visiting intriguing Inka buildings to have an epic entrance to Cusco, capital city of the Inkas.

From the airport we will make our way to the Sacred Valley, on the way we will visit a breeding place of Andean camelids: llamas, alpacas, vicuñas and huanacos, the viewpoint of the valley will be mandatory to enjoy the wonderful scenery and thus be welcomed to the land of the Incas. Visit the Inca city of Pisa’q, then its charming traditional market. Overnight in the Sacred Valley.

In the morning we will couple hours in the main street in Cusco. Then we will take our trasport to the uper moutains of Cusco to complete our preparatory for the next expedition.

We will leave Cusco and go to the viewpoint of the condors in Chonta (3400 m). On the way we will visit Killarumillo’q (stone moon, 3500 m), the Salkantay glacier viewpoint (wild, 6279 m) and the archaeological complex of Tarawasi (tara house, 2654 m) We will have a 3.5 km hike to reach the Condors viewpoint, we will have the most amazing landscape of the Andes mountain range. Then our transportation will take us to Soraypampa (3900 m), the base camp.

We start the day trekking along the slopes of the Salkantay and Humantay glaciers. We will head towards the Humantay Lagoon (4200 m.) and a great reward awaits us when we arrive and have in front of us the unique colors of the lagoon and the glacier. Then we will return and take the main route to the epic part of the expedition to the Salkantay Glacier.

A sunrise between very high glaciers and the wide view of the mountains will give us the energy to continue the trek. We will have the opportunity to taste different exotic fruits that grow in the area (depending on the season).  At the end of the trek, a transportation will be waiting for us to take us to Santa Teresa – our campsite, and we will visit the hot springs of Cocalmayu.

In the morning we have an exciting adventure in the mountains: ZIP-LINE! At the end of this activity we will go to Lucmabamba (2000 m) to reach the Inca Trail. The trail begins with the visit of the coffee plantations and we will prepare our own coffee and we will be more than ready for the ascent that will take us to the viewpoints of the most impressive landscapes and the most important in this adventure, showing us in the distance the wonder of the world, Machupicchu. We will also enjoy the Machupicchu landscape from our campsite.

We will have the sunrise of the day, clearing the silhouette of the mountains and Machupicchu shining in the sunlight. With this colorful sunrise we will start the day with good energy. The hike is downhill to the Aobamba river, then we will follow the Urubamba river and border the mountain of Machupicchu.

Let’s explore the southern valley! We will start by visiting Q’oricancha (place of gold), which is the center of our spirituality and culture, then we will go to Tipon: hydraulic center and Inca agricultural experiment, traditional lunch at the Huacarpay lagoon. In the afternoon we will visit the church of Andahuaylillas (Sistine of America), in its interior houses more gold than anywhere else nearby. Then the village of Oropesa will open its doors for us to see its traditional ovens and the process of baking the traditional bread that is very popular in the Cusco region will be part of our experience.
