Relics of Cusco

The day begins with a visit to the archaeological center of Ollantaytambo and a stroll in the picturesque village of the same name, which still preserves the original streets as in Inkan and colonial times. From Ollantaytambo we take the train to Aguas Calientes (Machupicchu).

The most awaited day has arrived! We will walk inside Machupicchu, the emblem of our culture, and live an experience that will take us back to the time of the Incas. A unique mystical panorama, surrounded by the beauty of the mountains, this visit will reveal the knowledge of the Inca life. We will have lunch in a restaurant near Machupicchu. In the afternoon we take the train back to Cusco.

A day to explore the surroundings of Cusco. We will visit Saqsayhuaman, known for the huge stones that form its walls of gigantic proportions; in Q’enqo we will pass through tunnels dug in the rock; Pukapukara and Tambomachay will complete the relics of Cusco. A hike will take us to visit archaeological sites forgotten by time and covered by nature. At the end of the trek we will take our transportation to Huanacaure (4089 m), a great mountain where our ancestors decided to found Cusco and with it the Inca civilization. We will enjoy this part of history with the sunset.
