We will arrive to the condors viewpoint in their natural habitat, we will continue the road to beging the Salkantay trek and Humantay glacier will welcome us, we will visit their lagoons and their paths will take us to enjoy the epic landscapes that the Andes have for you. On the other side of the mountain range we will find cloud forests with lush vegetation.

The subtropical forests turn into tropical forests where we will find a variety of flora and fauna. A coffee tour will give us the opportunity to make our own coffee. During the hike we will reach deep valleys with impressive mountains that will allow us to go ziplining. All activities together: adventure, culture, mysticism and a lot of adrenaline will make this Salkantay trekking an unforgettable experience.

The last challenge will be to get to Llactapara to have the first view of Machupicchu and the paradicical geography that surrounds the wonder of the world, a night in this place will make us dream of our visit to Machupicchu.

When we arrive in Machupicchu, we will already have had some nature therapy and pleasant memories.

We will leave Cusco, heading to the viewpoint of the Condors in Chonta (3400 m) On the way we will visit Killarumillo’q (stone moon, 3500 m), the viewpoint of the Salkantay Glacier (wild, 6279 m) and the archaeological complex of Tarawasi (house of Tara, 2654 m) We will have a walk of 3.5 km to reach the viewpoint of the Condors, We will have the most amazing landscape of the Andes. Then we will return and our transportation will take us to Soraypampa (3900 m) the base camp.

– Maximum altitude: 3900 m Soraypampa camp.

– Minimum altitude: 2654 m Tarahuasi Archaeological Center.

– Difficulty: Easy – Moderate

– Activities: Visit to archaeological centers: Killarumilloc, Tarahuasi, landscape walk and condor viewpoint.

– Lodging: Camping in Soraypampa.

We start the day trekking through the slopes of the Salkantay and Humantay glaciers. We will head towards the Humantay Lagoon and a great reward awaits us when we arrive and have in front of us the unique colors of the lagoon and the glacier. Then we will return and take the main route to the Salkantay Glacier, which will make this an epic experience.

– Maximum elevation: 4630 m Salkantay Pass

– Minimum elevation: 3860 m Huayracmachay campsite.

– Level of difficulty: Moderate – Difficult

– Overnight: Camping in Huayracmachay

A sunrise between high glaciers and a wide view of the mountains will give us the energy to continue the trek. We will descend through cloud forests until we reach the rainforests, and along the way we will have the opportunity to taste different exotic fruits that grow (depending on the season).  At the end of the trek, a transportation will be waiting for us to take us to Santa Teresa – our campsite, and we will visit the hot springs of Cocalmayu.

– Distance: 19 km on foot, 16 km with transportation.

– Maximum altitude: 3860 m Huayracmachay

– Minimum altitude: 1433 m Cocalmayo hot springs.

– Accessibility: Trail and transportation

– Level of difficulty: Moderate – Difficult

– Activities: Hiking, cloud forest, tropical and subtropical forest, wild fruit and hot springs.

– Lodging: Camping in Santa Teresa.

In the morning we have an exciting adventure in the mountains: ZIP-LINE! At the end of this activity we will go to Lucmabamba (2000 m) to reach the Inca Trail. The trail starts with the visit of the coffee plantations and we will prepare our own coffee and we will be more than ready for the ascent that will take us to the viewpoints of the most impressive landscapes and the most important in this adventure, showing us in the distance the wonder of the world, Machupicchu. We will also enjoy the landscape from our campsite.

– Maximum altitude: 2740 m Llacta Pata Pass

– Minimum altitude: 1550 m Santa Teresa village

– Feasibility: Transportation, Inca Trail

– Difficulty: Moderate – Difficult

– Activities: Zip line, hiking, landscaping, visit to the archaeological center of Llactapata and visit to Machupicchu.

– Overnight: Lodge in Llactapata.

We will have the sunrise of the day, clearing the silhouette of the mountains and Machupicchu shining in the sunlight. With this colorful sunrise we will start the day with good energy. The hike is downhill to the Aobamba River, a gradual and easy walk along the Urubamba River that borders Machupicchu. Arriving in the city of Aguas Calientes we will have the accommodation.

– Maximum altitude: 2650 m Llactapata Lodge

– Minimum altitude: 1800 m hydroelectric.

The most awaited day has arrived! We will visit Machupicchu, the emblem of our culture, and live an experience that will take us back to the time of the Incas, surrounded by the beauty of the surrounding mountains, with a unique mystical panorama. We will take one of the buses that will take us to the historical sanctuary of Machupicchu and then we will have lunch at the Tinkuy Belmond Restaurant that is located next to Machupicchu. In the afternoon we take the train back to Cusco.
