Wacrapucara Experience

This experience is about feelings of the base and the immense beauty of the whole. This ancient oracle will teach you the meaning of Wakapukara.

Nowadays this place is becoming more and more famous and visited, so when visiting this place we might meet 5 or 10 visitors and it is very likely that we are the only ones camping in the area under the silence of the universe, that is the complement of the magic of the energetic centre.

In the morning we will leave Cusco towards Acomayo. In Sangarara we will make a detour to reach the start of the trek at the highest point with a wide panorama of the surrounding mountains and lagoons (3950 m). We will follow the undulating path that will give us colorful landscapes and when we pass the mountains we will descend and the Apurimac Canyon will appear. From a distance we will be able to see our final destination: Wacapucara, with its great majesty. Once arrived in Wacapucara we will rest and enjoy the unique landscape.

The day starts early with a mate de coca. After breakfast we will visit the Inca temple of Wacapucara, this adventure will be of emotions with the environment. In the afternoon we will take the road that surrounds Wacapucara and goes out bordering the canyon of the Apurimac. In the village of Wayqui we will take the transportation back to Cusco.
